Inheritance

If one or both parents have one of the following traits, you have the opportunity to inherit them:
Any item from the Appearance Category
From the prayers: Immortality and Enhanced features
Any wings, including their add-ons, like Mismatch
Any shape-shifting, including their add-ons, like Multiples

After purchasing the appropriate item, make a thread with the form filled out from below. If one parent has the trait, you may pick any number that fits the number of sides. If both parents have the trait, you may pick two numbers. A staff member will enter the amount of dice faces that you have purchased and roll the dice once on this site and post the result. If the number matches the number(s) you chose, then your foal will inherit the trait. If not, you may not try again for that trait with that foal.

Let me do a brief demonstration. Say I bought 13 Faces from the Agora. Then I would come and make a thread filling out the form. Let's say my foal's dam had Wings but my foal's sire did not. Because of that, I can pick one number between 1 and 13. I pick 5. A staff member comes along, rolls the dice with 13 faces meaning I have a 1 in 13 chance of winning. The random dice roll results in 8 and the staff reports this to me. I can no longer attempt to get Wings for that foal.

The parent(s) must already have the trait at the time of conception. I cannot have my horse's foal conceived, buy Antlers, and then post to try and have my foal inherit them. I must have bought the Antlers before the foal is conceived.

You must purchase an item for each foal and for each trait. For example, twins must purchase two items separately. If you want to inherit wings and highlights, you must purchase two items and make two separate threads.

To be fair, any horse born on Metaphysical before this system was created is allowed to try and inherit traits even though they have already been born. However, all who are born after this system is established must use their items before they claim their foal but after the conception is successful.

The dice may not be rolled by a staff member who is affiliated with the foal--such as roleplaying it or roleplaying either parent of it. [/size][/blockquote][/justify]
